How many hours of sleep the person has had in recent days. The inner band shows the ideal, 7 to 8 hours. The outer band is also good, 6 to 9 hours. Since sleep normally occurs at night-time, measurement is overnight, from midday to midday.
These changes can be used to improve sleep:
- Have a regular bed time.
- Exercise daily.
- Avoid daytime naps.
- Avoid alcohol.
- Keep the bedroom dark and cool at night.
- Wind down near bedtime.
Trend analysis compares a rolling 7 days with the previous 2 weeks.
Persistent poor sleep, either insufficient or excessive, should be discussed with a medical practitioner.
