24-Hour Activity

24-Hour Activity

The chart shows activity over a 24-hour period.

Outer Circle

The outer circle shows where the person has been spending time.

Bed area - In bed or close by.
Living area - Other parts of the home.
Community - A designated community area.

Gaps highlight when the wearer has spent time beyond the range of the active gateways, visiting friends for example.

Tip: If there are unexpected gaps then check that all gateways are online. Additional gateways can be added to increase coverage. If a gateway is moved to improve coverage then it will reconnect once power is restored, assuming that Wi-Fi is available.

Inner Circle

The inner circle shows a wearer’s activity level at different times.

Pale green - Sleeping
Mid green - Resting
Dark green - Active or walking
Grey - Out of range

The ideal is to spend an appropriate amount of time in bed, have uninterrupted sleep, be active at meal times and to spend time socialising. Deviations from this ideal can help identify care needs.

Centre Icon

The centre of the circle shows the current status of the wearer.

Active - Walking recently
Resting - Sitting or lying down
Sleeping - Currently asleep
Absent - Not within range of any active gateways

This can be used to time a visit for example.
