Like many similar devices on the market, the fall alarm sensor contained within the PacSana solution cannot be guaranteed to detect all falls in part because it is dependent on where it is worn and the amount of shock or impact from the fall.
The PacSana solution is not intended for emergency situations and should not be relied upon to detect 100% of falls. If a client falls and can press the alert button then the client should be advised to do so.
The PacSana solution is not a medical device and cannot be used to diagnose, prevent, monitor, treat or alleviate any disease or medical condition. Any such concerns should be directed to an appropriate healthcare professional.
